What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website and how do we use it?
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience. We'll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

- Create your membership account

How long we retain your data
We store information about you for as long as your account exists, including after your subscription ends. You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Student Data
We do not collect PII from ANY students. In cases where a subscription or service tier allows for direct student access, it is provide through a generic school login, which is shared by any students authorized (under the terms of the licensing agreement) to use the service. In some cases, we may collect anonymous information like IP address and other analytics.
Comments
We do not currently allow visitors to leave comments on the site. As a general process rule only, data shown in the comments form would be collected at the time of commenting along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
We do not currently allow visitors to upload images to the website. As a general rule of "best practices" Internet users should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. This information can be extracted from the images to obtain location and other data.
Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, the site Owner/Administrators can access:
- Order information such as your membership subscriptions, payment dates and amounts, and username / email address.
- Any additional information added in your Member Profile can also be visible to the Administrator(s).
Also, if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter or enter information on our site.
How do we protect your information?
We take various measures to insure your information is protected. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible; we use regular Malware Scanning; your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All payment transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

According to CalOPPA, we agree that users can visit our site anonymously. Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website.
